 18% Of All School Teachers Are Minorities.

Yet, 50.2% of enrolled school aged children are minorities. 

 

 

This troubling statistic is one of the many results that are being caused by our current educational system. More and more schoolaged children aren't graduating, about 20% or more will not be recieving diplomas after 4 years.

 

A high percentage of these children are in low income, high minority areas.

 

 

 

 

 

Research shows that schools with high minority populations who have higher amounts of minorities on the faculty, also have higher graduation rates. These studies show that children truly believe in the mantra:

"if they can do it, so can I"

 

This is why we need your help to inspire hope in our next generation.

 

Many children living in poverty often don't believe they'll make it out of poverty, often giving up on dreams and aspirations. Why not instill a belief that they can make it out and become the very best they can be?

 

Become a role model for children who often can't relate to adults around them.
